Caring For Your Stained Glass
Stained glass pieces are handmade, therefore the glass will have natural scratches, antique looking patina, and imperfections. That is half the beauty!
The metals and finishes used tend to naturally oxidize over time. You may notice a white powder forming.
If your piece needs to be cleaned, place the item on a flat surface and gently buff with a soft cloth (old tshirt!) DO NOT USE GLASS CLEANER OR OTHER CLEANING AGENT.
Do not use a suction cup to hang your item! Please use proper hardware to ensure your piece stays securely hung.
If your piece is looking dull, you can polish the piece with any caranauba wax based car wax for shine & protection.
Some materials contain lead. Lead is only harmful when ingested, but please wash hands after handling.
